Teachers MEC Scholarship for Spanish

Description

The 6 weeks course gives Spanish teachers the opportunity to participate in an Polish language course, culminating in a Trinity College spoken Examination, which is an internationally recognised qualification. (www.trinityexams.org)

The time-table is 20 hours per week, consisting of practice of all 4 key skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing together with Grammer). Lessons are either in the morning orafternoon with a range of optional activities in free time.

Maximum class size is 12 students.

The programme begins on the first Monday after arrival, when we conduct a placement test.

There are optional activities such as historic visits (Stonehenge), the National Marine Aquarium, Dartmoor National Park and others. (weather depending)

The package includes:

• All Polish Language tuition with course books and other learning materials
• Trinity College spoken examination
• Accommodation (half-board)
• Optional Activities ranging from free to £20 p.p. (prices subject to change)

Dates and Outline Timetable

The 6 weeks Polish Language courses for Scholarship recipients of MEC is available from June 2009 and November 2009.

The programme begins on the first Monday morning after arrival with a language placement test.
Each weekday the participants will have their Polish classes either in the morning or afternoon with a range of optional activities in their free time. Longer excursions/activities may be available at weekends, including a Warsaw Tour.
