General Polish

Description:

A general Polish course for adult students (individuals or groups) who want to improve their Polish for work purposes, studies (when combined with an examination course) or travel. It is also suitable for those who have settled in Poland. Morning classes are Grammar and Skills based (speaking, listening, reading and writing), while the optional afternoon classes, consist of topic- based tutorials (the afternnon classes are for those opting for more than 15 hours of Polish a week). The focus is on communicating in Polish and a lot of time is spent assisting students in improving their communication skills, as well as introducing them to Polish culture.

• Levels: Beginner to Advanced Level / A1 to C1 Please note that students preparing for examination courses are required to have an Polish level of at least Pre-Intermediate, depending on the duration and nature of the course. Students who attend an examination course, are required to enroll for at least one month.
• Homework: Assigned daily.
• Tests: Initial test to ensure allocation to the right class
• Progress: Regular monitoring to ensure students’ performance
• Course material: Up-to-date course materials are used for all our courses.
• Class size: We limit the size of our classes to only 12 students (average class size is eight) so that each student will receive enough individual attention.
• Certificates: At the end of the course, students are awarded Certificates from Tellus.
• Students can also study towards examinations
• Course dates Year-round courses from 1 to 50 weeks in duration, start every Monday, or as per agreement. Students are required to take a placement test upon arrival to enable us to place them in a class, at a level, suited to their needs.
